Sundays are sacred.
I’m not a religious person, and frankly there is no differentiation between weekends and weekdays for Adam and I anymore. We work on the days we need or want to work, and make sure we play every single day anyway.
And yet, Sundays always feel particularly special, especially the mornings which seem to employ a kind of time dilation that makes a few hours feel like an eternity.
We read poetry, we write, we play games, we chatter about a podcast or our dreams for the future. But of paramount importance is the backing soundtrack to Sunday mornings.1
Years ago Adam listened to a podcast series called Snore & Guzzle Radio Hour and a playlist pulled together by a fan has become a rainy Sunday favorite.
Here it is.
I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
I am actually— please don’t judge me— not much of a music person. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good tune (I’m not a psychopath), but I often spend time at home when I’m working or cleaning in silence. Really, though, I’m not a psychopath.
